The following are the Roketto company values and we will strive for all team players and staff members to uphold these values everyday:
Roketto is founded by former players and professionals involved in the sports at the highest level.
A former member of the Malaysian National Junior Team, Asok left the professional circuit to pursue engineering in the US, later working in Silicon Valley. He founded Roketto with one goal – to develop Australia’s next world-class player. His approach blends high-performance discipline with a strategic mindset honed from the tech world. Off court, Asok’s other passion is anything with two wheels – especially the motorised kind.
Born and raised in Japan, Miki’s passion for badminton runs deep — so deep she used to sneak out of the house just to train during high school. A qualified architect by profession, Miki now runs the day-to-day operations of Roketto, keeping everything sharp and precise — both on and off the court. She still trains and competes at the Masters level, proving that her love for the game never fades.
With a coaching career spanning over two decades, Wong Tat Meng has been at the helm of national teams across Malaysia, Indonesia, South Korea, Scotland, and Hong Kong. His strategic acumen was instrumental in guiding South Korea's women's team to victory in the 2022 Uber Cup and mentoring rising stars like An Se-young. At Roketto, Tat Meng oversees the development and implementation of elite training programs, aiming to cultivate Australia's next generation of world-class badminton talent.
Originally from Bintan, Indonesia, Sherly trained and competed at PPLP Kepri in Batam before pursuing an Advanced Diploma in Business. She has been with Roketto since day one, playing a vital role in keeping operations running smoothly. With her strong badminton background and sharp business sense, Sherly plays a critical role at Roketto. She works tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every customer has the best possible experience from the moment they walk through our doors.
